It’s the start of a new year, indeed a new decade, and for me the start of a new chapter in my research. I’m taking up a position at the Royal Veterinary College at the University of London, and bidding farewell to the University of Reading after six years. As is always the case with moving from one institution to another, this is tinged with sadness at leaving one place – and excitement at joining another. In that vein, I’ve got lots of exciting things to report on over the coming weeks – so keep an eye open for updates on papers and grants…
