Visit to Chichester Parkinson’s UK branch

On Monday I made the trip down to Chichester on the South coast to talk to the local Parkinson’s UK branch about how genetics is helping us understand Parkinson’s disease, and providing new drug targets in the fight to develop new therapies for the disease. As always lots of very interesting questions, hopefully I was able to shed some light on how my Parkinson’s UK funded research is contributing to the drug discovery effort in PD (from chatting to the branch members afterwards it sounds as though I was at least part way intelligible).
